Honey Mustard Chicken

Hey all!  Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, I’ve actually been working on a lot of things in our crazy life! Winter sports have ended and soccer has begun, I am scrambling to get volunteer hours for our kids school, and we recently did a 5K that was kind of an eye opener for me.

Guys- I am super out of shape!

Like waaayyyy out of shape.

So I’ve started to change my eating habits and exercising.

Right now it’s new and fun, I’m losing weight and getting more energy…but check in with me in a few more weeks and see if I’m still as enthusiastic 😉

Which brings me to today’s recipe! This is something I found a few years ago when I was trying to lose some baby weight. The hardest part of changing my diet is that I still have to eat with the rest of the family, so this recipe was (and is) a life saver!

Honey Mustard Chicken

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken breasts

1 cup of honey

1/4 cup yellow mustard

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 tbs paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tbs parsley
Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Combine all the ingredients except the chicken

Mix them well!

Lay out the chicken breasts in a greased pan and smother them in the sauce.

Put in the oven for 25 minutes, pull them out, turn them, and put them in for another 25 minutes

Check the center and make sure they’re done!

Enjoy!
